Telegram

Export from Telegram Desktop on a Mac or PC. The phone app can’t export chats.

1. Install Telegram Desktop from telegram.org and log in.
2. Open the chat with your partner.
3. Click ⋮ at the top right › Export chat history.
4. Tick Photos if you want them.
5. Set Format to “Machine-readable JSON”. The HTML format can’t be read.
6. Click Export, then put the whole export folder (with result.json) in your materials folder.

Tip: Calls are included in the export automatically.

Menu names can differ slightly between app versions. Keep your original exports; VisaDocket only reads them.
